Description

Here is one more one day hike for Saturday with a nice scenery.

Winter hike: Expect winter conditions. Thus, you would need ganache and crampons, warm hiking clothes and also rain jacket.

Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as medium difficulty and we will have a relaxed pace. Because of winter conditions, the route will be snowy and can be icy! Route may be modified based on the conditions of the day of the hike.

Recommended things to bring: Please, check the weather forecast yourself, dress and pack your stuff accordingly (spare clothes, rain jacket, etc).

  • Winter hiking shoes;
  • Ganache and crampons;
  • Rain clothes/rain protection;
  • Food and water (no planed huts);
  • Warm clothes;
  • Trekking/hiking poles;
  • First aid kit
  • Extra change of clothes (e.g. warm socks) 
  • Good mood and a smile 😊


Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone.

Good to know

By public transport:

Meeting Time: April 15 at 8:10 AM to have time to buy the tickets. The train will leave at 8:30. 

Meeting Place: Munich Central Station in front of Platform 34. We will take the train  BRB RB55 (77359) direction Bayrischzell.

Ticket: The price for the Bayern-Ticket is between 12.6 and 15 Euros. 

Important: After 8:15 you have to buy your own ticket!


Train back to Munich:  BRB RB55 (86788) at 19:03 to be back around 20:30 (we also have options at 18:03 or at 20:03)
