Description

Note: please read full hike description below before signing up. 

We will meet Saturday at Munich HBF at 07:10 and take RB56 direction Lenggries, then get out at Bad Tölz and take a 40 min bus ride down to Ötzschlößl. 

Will hike together as a group at a normal hiking pace.

Please join only if seriously plan to be there, no last minute cancellations please as I’ll be coming from Augsburg and will buy a group bayern ticket in advance. 

Required items: 

-hiking boots/shoes mandatory

- micro spikes mandatory

- cash/PayPal for splitting Bayern tickets

- hiking clothes only (no jeans)

- enough snacks and water for the hike (no planned hut breaks)


- gaiters just in case 

- first aid kit and personal navigation advisable 



Good to know

We meet at the München HBF platform area (Gl 27-36) near the machines.  I’ll have a 20L green Osprey Pack on.

Please check your status on the main waiting list the day before the hike to confirm your participation. Please announce 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend. If you have on your account a NO SHOW review in the last year DO NOT JOIN.

Please don’t forget to bring micro spikes and gloves may also be good. There is a short hands-on climbing section before the peak with iron clamps and rope, and I don’t have an idea yet on the snow/ice condition.
