Avalanche risks are moderate above 1400 m these days! So let's enjoy this fairly long, low elevation hike in the Oberammergau region.
Trips back are hourly at XX:42. We will aim for the 16:42 train back -> 6/7 pm we're back in Munich.
In the last ~1 hour of the hike I'll start to track if we can catch the train. We might need to speed up to avoid a long waiting time (if everyone is on-board with the idea), so be mentally ready for that! ;)
The ascent to Kofel is considered T3+ and is secured with ropes, so comfort for heights and surefootedness will be necessary! Depending on the conditions, we can also skip it and continue the hike. The remainder of the hike will be T2/T1 and shouldn't be a problematic.
It is mandatory to join the whatsapp group, as we will buy a digital Bayern ticket (since I don't have a city ticket) on Friday before 10:00 PM!
