NOTE: JOINING THIS HIKE MEANS YOU ARE COMMITTING YOURSELF TO BEING THERE! Please do not block places in the list and that you are sure you will go. 


Please note the start time is in Reutte not Munich. 


Tour below is subject to change depending on weather conditions ( ie  different variant if snow remaining at peak or bad weather): 

2 day tour in the Tannheimer Tal:

- first day: Rauth to Leilachspitze (highest peak in Tal) with cat 1+ scrambling, then down to Landsberger Hütte next to Traualpsee, +1460/-730 and 14km 


- second day: Landsberger Hütte to Schrecksee to Vilsalpsee, +500/-1100 and 13km


- overnight hut stay in the Mattress lager reserved; halbpension not reserved; 10€ prepayment required from each buddy to cover the hut cancellation fee in case you drop out last minute due to being sick or something else. I will reimburse the money on arrival in case you go. 


-DAV member bed price 15€; non-members 27€ (tbc)


- Not a beginner hike; required to have minimum 3 T3 hikes done with positive feedback.


- Will hike together as a group with a normal hiking pace, not fast. 


Required items: 

-hiking boots/trail runners mandatory

- rain gear mandatory 

- micro spikes mandatory TBD 

- hiking clothes only (no jeans)

Good to know

- Please message me with your cell phone number so I can create a WhatApp group and get the pre-payment. 


- Please inform yourself regarding individual hut requirements/rules.


- Additional items to bring: DAV card, mummy sack, house shoes, snacks, rain gear, enough cash for travel tickets and hut costs (credit cards not accepted)


- Every hiker must have their own means of navigation using map (paper or digital).


- As this is a hike that requires more planning due to the overnight hut stay, please do not select to join the hike unless you are confident you are able to join, and please give notice in far advance in case you must cancel (2 weeks or earlier please).  


Travel:

I will travel from Augsburg and so it will be easier that we just meet on the train at Pasing. Munich people can meet beforehand :)  


- Saturday 3-Jun: Take the RB6 train at 06:32 from Munich HBF=>Garmisch; transfer to RB60 towards Reutte in Tirol (tickets can be split for those who do not have the 49eur ticket-can organize in WhatsApp group). Once we reach Reutte, we take bus 120 at 9:10 to Nesselwängle Gaicht. 


- Sunday 4-Jun:  Bus 121 from Vilsalpsee  => Tannheim in Tirol Kreisverkehr => Bus 120 to Reutte in Tirol => train to Munich. Last bus connection 17:35/17:50.


IMPORTANT: I am not a professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the groups split for some reason, for example).

If you have had a NO SHOW in the last year, do not join the hike.

also, as noted, ideally we take the peak, but will monitor the snow conditions. many other variants to the hut are possible! spikes may be necessary depending..
