Route: Vorderthal - Gross Aubrig - Euthal

Pace: Moderate. We'll try to have a continuous pace, with some breaks, but not too many. This is not a hike suitable for beginners without hiking experience, as we'll gain around 1000m of altitude.

Conditions: There might be some snow in the higher parts, but hopefully not too much. It might rain a tiny bit.

Starting point: Vorderthal Post. For people taking public transport, we’ll meet at Zurich HB shortly before the train departure.

How to get there: Train (S 25, direction Linthal) departs at 08:43 from Zurich HB, platform 6. Change in Siebnen-Wangen to bus B 523, direction Inerthal Post. Considering that this hike is not a loop, going by car might be difficult.

How to get back: Bus + train from Euthal, Drusberg.

What to take: Regular hiking equipment, in particular comfortable shoes (hiking boots or trail running shoes); food - we’ll have picnic lunch at the top; water; sunscreen; sunglasses; rain jacket.
