Description

Hello everyone,

as I cancelled my hinking plans for today as I was not sure of the weather and now the sun is shining, I have to go to the mountains tomorrow!
It will be cloudy, but at least no rain.

The starting point Lenggries is fast to reach from Munich, so we should be early enough back to have some "Tanz in den Mai".

Good to know

The snow in the mountains often stays longer than expected, although the Seekarkreuz is only 1600 m, be prepared!

Poles, gaiters and insurance (DAV or similar) are recommended. Waterproof hiking boots, spikes, water and food supplies are mandatory.

It is an easy hike, but please have some experience, I do not wanna go too slow.

We will take the train BRB RB56 at 08:03 plattform 32 to arrive at Lenggries at 9:11.
