Hoi hikers,

Let's hike along the northern side of Walensee.

How to get there by public transport:

Train (IR35 to Chur) departs at 07:12 from HB, platform 9. Meeting point: At the platform, 07:05, first 2nd class car acc to direction of travel.

Journey by public transport: ZH HB - Walenstadt

Journey by car: Use gps ;)



Meeting point:
  8:15 AM - Walenstadt Bahnhof
 
Hike:
  • The hike will last ca. 7 hours, with a lot of viewpoints.
  • The pace will be moderate/medium with enough time to admire the landscape. Short lunch break in Quinten.
  • Not recommended for absolute beginners.

Equipment:
  • Proper hiking boots, optional poles, sunscreen, food for picnic lunch, enough water, proper clothes acc. to the weather, good mood and fitness. Swimsuit, if you want to refresh yourself in the lake :)
