Description

Technical difficulty: 

  • Not recommended for a complete beginner.
  • Relaxed pace

Things to bring:

  • Hiking shoes;
  • proper clothing as per the weather.
  • food and water(2 liters) - we can also stop at one of the huts on the way to eat something together
  • good energy
  • 49 euro ticket. If someone does not have it, please align with other participants to buy single/group ticket :)
  • Cash for food/drinks

Optional:

  • spikes;
  • gaiters;
  • hiking poles;
  • spare socks;
  • first aid kit.


Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.

Good to know
  • We will meet at Platform 28 of Munich Hbf at 0815 hours
  • Catch RB6 (towards Garmish) at 0832 hours.
  • Get Down at Ohlstadt (scheduled arrival 0934 hours)
  • Although there is no hard limit on the return time, it would be best to be back in Munich by 1900 :)
  • Please try to be punctual.
  • Please check your status on the main/waiting list, the day before the hike to confirm your participation :)

Hi Joy unfortunately I jumped from the waiting list to the hike and wasn’t able to unjoin in time but I am already in Andreas Wank hike. I m sorry for that!
