Description

Another iconic hike, accessible by public transport, but tagging it carpool to accommodate people coming from different directions (I come from Salzburg). 

Medium pace, I have a dog. The last bit to the peak is quite exciting - there is some scrambling part, but no need for any equipment. It's also possible to skip (I most probably will skip because my doggy doesn't climb very well, yet)

Gear: 

  • hiking/trail running boots (no sneakers) 
  • passport, some cash 
  • water
  • snacks 

Optional: 

  • hiking poles 
  • sun screen
  • DAV / ÖAV member card (mountain insurance)
