Let's do the beautiful ridge hike in Kanton Schwyz, overlooking on the beautiful lake Vierwaldstaettersee. Highest point is above 1900m, should be small parts of snow on top. If you are afraid of heights and possibility to walk on snow this isnt for you. The hike will be a loop with around 900 m up&down. We will go on a moderate pace with enough pauses. At the top we should take a longer break to enjoy the views. 

Carpool: We will leave by car from Zurich HB at around 6:30 AM. The ride will be ca. 50mins till starting point. We park there at Parkplatz Stoosbahn.

Train: For those who will come with the train you should take this train itinerary from Zurich HB:

• 6:05 - depart Zürich HB, Platform 5 IR46 Dircetion Locarno
• 7:01 - arrive in Schwyz
• 7:07 - depart bus Stop A/B direction Muotathal
• 7:24 - arrive at Stossbahn (Talstation)
• 7:40 - from Stossbahn Talstation we take the train to Stoss where we start the hike.

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T2. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2.

Lunch: We will probably have lunch at the top. I will bring a sandwich with, there are also some huts at the top, we could stop also in one of them. Please bring enough of water with. 

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
  
• Cash for the car ride (15chf), and for the food at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Warm clothes

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 24 hours.
