Hey all with the summer around the corner we do an easy T3 hike. Please familiarize yourself with the SAC scale before signing up and you are solely responsible for your safety.


We meet at pf 27 at hbf at 0815 and use the personal Deutschland Ticket (49 EUR). We shall board RB6 at 0831 to OhlStadt  and begin the hike  at 0945. We would finish the hike at Walchensee where we swim for a bit (this is optional) at board the bus at Herzogstand back at Kochel/Murnau and then back to Munich either 1705 or earlier and reach munich by 1826 or earlier.

Please bring enough water and food for the hike.

Also bring your swimming clothes if you wish to swim

Please bring hiking boots and hiking poles (optional)

Good to know

  • Important Points to observe and follow:

    • This is a T3 hike but good fitness required.
    • Please sign up only if you are sure you would join. One cannot unjoin within 12 hours of the hike starting time.
    • You will always stick to the group. Make always sure that you see the group in sight.
    • Whenever there is a diversion in the route please stop till the entire group is there at the diversion.
    • Organizer will buy the tickets and keep the tickets safe till we reach back.
    • Please download the gpx map for offline view : GPXTracker works for iphone, "GPX Viewer from Venture" might be good for android. Have enough battery in mobile and powerbank to recharge as needed.
    • Food if you prefer not to eat at the hut. But if the hut is not open for any other reason I am not responsible. Please carry enough snacks as alternatives.
    • Better to have DAV insurance, but it is up to individuals
