Starts at Train station Wildpark-Höfli (S4 line), at the Sihlriver.

We go up the Albisketten, through the Animal park (Tierpark, free entry). Cross the road, through the forest up to the peak. Then along the peak for a while, go to the Watchtower (35meter extra), from where you have overview on the entire area, lake Zurich, lake Zug etc.


The paths are generally broad, well maintained, easy walkable (with some exceptions).

PS: the attached route is indicative, may slightly deviate from the route.

Meet at Train station Wildpark-Höfli (S4 line)

Meet right at the tracks, at the cabin. There is only 1. 


Train arrives from Zurich HB at 09.37.

I will wait for this train before starting the hike, also in case of unlikely train delays.

Parking nearby not possible. Bike rack available at train station


END:

This is not a loop ! The hike ends at a buss stop IM UNTERRENGG, every 30 min a bus to the train station Langnau Gattikon. Busride is 4min only.


BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH + DRINKS.

We will eat around noon, by that time we should be around the Watchtower, afterwards we go downhill
