Description
This is a two-days hike to Heilbronner Weg & Grosse Krottenkopf with a stay at Kemptner Hütte. I have booked 7 beds and already prepaid 10 € for each bed. I would kindly ask you to transfer me this amount 2 days before the hike (I will create a WhatsApp group for that). The rest of the price for the stay you can pay directly to the hut (5 € for DAV members, 17€ - not DAV members). No cards are accepted in the hut, please bring only cash!

Please have your Deutschland-Ticket and the route downloaded. And don’t forget to take cash with you! 

Please bring enough water and food. We will stop for a lunch break around 14:00.

Hiking boots are mandatory. Klettersteig Set is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The hike will take place even if it’s going to rain, but the road may be subject to variations because of that. So please, dress and pack your stuff accordingly (rain jacket, spare clothes, etc).

The speed will be adjusted to the slowest speed of participants. 

IMPORTANT: Please announce 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend. If you do not come on the hike, you will get a NO SHOW review. Thanks for understanding!

UPDATE 22.06: Just called DAV and Huetten-Holiday, and they informed me that the outbreak is only in Rappenseehütte, and Kemptner Hütte is not affected and it functions as usual. So we will not stop in Rappenseehütte. The rest stays unchanged. 

However, please, make sure to have DAV insurance! In case you don't have it/ not planning to get it before the hike - please, unjoin the hike asap. Thank you for understanding!

08:20 Train -> Buchloe (Gl. 27, RE 72 Direction Memmingen) - Arrival: 09:03, Gl. 4

09:07 Train -> Oberstdorf (Gl. 5, RE 17 Direction Oberstdorf) - Arrival: 10:59

11:00 start hiking

Around 18:00: Dinner at Kemptner Hütte


Day 2:

06:30 start hiking to to Grosse Krottenkopf

18:41 train -> Buchloe -> München Hbf (RE 79 -> RE74, Gl. 3) - Arrival: 21:19, Gl. 29
