Description

The annual Sonnwendfeuer in the Zugspitz area consists of fires with different motifs all over the mountains. The fires will be lit at 21:30 to 22. see https://zugspitzarena.com/en/News-Events/Mountain-Fires-Summer-Solstice-Fires for more details. The event might be postponed to June 26th if the weather is bad.

YOU MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE JOINING, esp. about the 3G rule and the headlamp.

Transport: We will go by car as public transport operates only until 21:30. We'll share the car expenses. The driver(s) may require passengers to pay in advance. Drivers should check whether all passenger fulfill the mandatory conditions (see below) and reject those who don't. Please read the car instructions carefully. If the hike or lift is cancelled or postponed, the drivers must reimburse the prepaid payments. Otherwise a passenger dropping out before departure must only be reimbursed if the driver can find a replacement. Car drivers must contact me first if they drop out.
