This hike is on the border of Germany and Austria, so I think Bringing passport is not a bad idea actually. 

I am slow and I will go slow tomorrow. You must be flexible with the change in plan(For example we might stop at Leutersee/Ferchensee, this is not fix yet. PLease bring towel and swimm suits with you if we stop at the Leutersee lake and water is warm enough to get in)

Easy hike from Mittenwald. We go through the geisterklamm (if it's open), then hike up to Grünkopf and descent via Ederkanzel (lunch at the hut) down to Mittenwald again. 

- flashlight (always good to have)

- Hiking boots

- gaiters & spikes (optional, could be snow or ice)

- Water

- Food 

- Appropriate clothes

- Money for tickets
