Hike to Pilatus from starting at the shore of lake of Lucerne.

This route has quite high difference in elevation and you should be able to walk uphill about 300 metres in one go at reasonably fast pace without longer breaks. The views are certainly worth it: they change literally all the time, in the beginning one sees only the central part of the lake and later from top of Pilatus all its branches and lakes.

Let's meet at 9:46 at the Hergiswil NW train station.

Connection from Zurich HB: IR 75 at 8:35 -> Luzern -> IR 3082 at 9:36.

There are restaurants near the peak but have plenty of food and drinks for the long climb!

We'll take the cablecar to Kriens on the way back: so almost no downhill sections are included in this hike.
