Hey hiking buddies,

The weather forecast for next weekend looks quite promising and I'd propose to go to Großer Waxenstein, one of the most charming neighbors of Germany's highest mountain. It is a challenging hike with some climbing sections up to UIAA II. The summit tempts with great views of the Zugspitze, Höllental, and Eibsee.

We could start together in Munich at 6:59 and take the train to Hammersbach. The Höllentalangerhütte will welcome us on our descent for a delicious dinner.

This is a serious hike that requires the corresponding equipment.
You'll need:

- Appropriate Clothes & Shoes
- Helmet
- Snacks & Water
- Money for Höllentalklamm

The tour is unguided; I'm not a guide. Every hiker is fully responsible for himself/herself and hikes at his/her own risk.

Hi, at which platform should we meet at 6.59? in DB application I don't see any train to the Hammersbach. i can see at 7.13 RE61 to the Garmisch and that from Garmish RE62 to the Untergrainau. but i'm not sure what is our plan regarding the transport
