Dear hiking buddies.
The area of Flims if one of the smaller, but well known tourist spots in Switzerland.
The surrounding landscape is quite diverse, with many mountains, big forest and a variety of rivers and waterfalls.
Time Frame:
10:00 meet and start
after 12 Km we will be at Segneshütte and will take a break there
around 19:00 back at the starting point
Meeting point:
Bus station Flims Bergbahnen.
There is a paid parking directly at the meeting point.
Travels from Zurich HB:
07:38 Zurich HB, platform 7 (IC 3 to Chur)
08:52 arrival Chur
08:57 Chur, Postautostation (Bus B 81 81107Direction Laax GR, posta)
09:22 arrival Flims Dorf, Bergbahnen
There are multiple places nearby to drink a coffee or take breakfast.

Hike:
We will walk up at the indicated path to Segneshütte.
From there we have a round trip in the Valley with the waterfall Segnesboden and go back to the hut, have a break there and then walk back down to Flims.
Hiking Buddies page shows a small part as T6, but it is a mistake. It is more T3
Picnic/BBQ:
Bring your picnic or buy something at Segneshütte ( https://segneshuette.ch )
Equipment:
No specific equipment needed, apart from hiking boots and lots of water.
There is not much protection against the sun.
Application:
As always there is the possibility to come by car.
Join the car pool and either create a car yourself or have a look who can take you there.
For those who come by public transport please create a "car" in the carpool with around 30 seats and use "public transport" as a description. That way others can join that one and we keep a good overview.
If that one is full, create another one with 30 seats please.
No maximum number of participants.
