Let's hike one the most famous hikes in the Allgäu (for its views and flowers), the Hochgrat ridge traverse, by fair means.

Hikers with <1000 points or no T4 hikes must send me a PM with details about their other experience and fitness within 1h after joining. Otherwise they will be removed.

Preliminary schedule:

1. 7:20 train R70/bus 95 to Steibis Hochgratbahn
2. 10:00 arrival , start of hike
3. ca 12:00 Staufner Haus
4. ca 16:30 Mittag Bergstation
5. ca 18:00 Immenstadt, optional dinner
6. 18:17/19:06/19:17/20:06/21:04/22:04/22:58 train to Munich (about 1:40)

Technical Difficulty: This hike is NOT suitable for beginners. You have to be surefooted and must have very good stamina. You should have experience with easy scrambling, not be slow (>=500m gain/hour), and a pace of at least 5km/h in the flat parts.

Transport: We'll use public transport. A Deutschlandticket is sufficient. Otherwise you need to buy your own ticket.

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't want to come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours. No-shows will be recorded in your profile.
