Route: Unterschächen Ribi - Egghütte stöcke - Alpbeizli Wannelen - Unterschächen Post (T2). I was there in July and it is a relatively easy hike with few people and scenic views (especially Alp Äsch and Stäubifall).

Pace: Moderate. We'll try to have a continuous pace, with some breaks, but not too many. This is a hike which also beginners which are relatively fit can join without a problem.

Starting point: Unterschächen, Ribi (bus stop). For people taking public transport, we’ll meet at Zurich HB shortly before the train departure.

How to get there: Train IR 46 Treno Gottardo, direction Lucarno, departs at 08:05 from Zurich HB, platform 4, arrives in Altdorf UR 09.17. Bus B 408, direction Linthal, departs 09.38 from Altdorf UR, Bahnhof Ost, arrives 10.13 in Unterschächen, Ribi.

How to get back: Bus B 408, direction Altdorf UR, departs 15.43 from Unterschächen, Post, arrives in Altdorf UR, Bahnhof Ost 16.18. Train IR 46 Treno Gottardo, direction Zurich HB, departs 16.39 from Altdorf UR, platform 4, arrives in Zurich HB 17.55.

What to take: Regular hiking equipment, in particular comfortable shoes (hiking boots or trail running shoes); food - we’ll have picnic lunch at Alpbeizli Wannelen or somewhere else; water; sunscreen; sunglasses; tick spray; rain jacket.

2. Click on Add a car (even if it is not actually a car)
3. Set the number of seats available to 0
4. In the field Contact details, write "Public transports"
5. The other fields aren't relevant
