Hike Details
We leave from Emmenmatt and cross the Ilfis and the Grosse Emme rivers, before they join later to form the Emme. Then we climb uphill for about 90 minutes towards Moosegg (end of the official stage 15). We then continue on Stage 16 towards the Blasenfluh (1’118m). The views of Langnau, the Emmental Valley and the range of the Bernese Alps are wide open.
After about 2 ½ hours, we reach Grosshöchstetten (two Celtic tombs on the edge of Hünberg forest) and we continue the meadows full of flowers above Konolfingen to Münsingen. Münsingen is located in the centre of the Aare Valley, adjacent to the Emmental Valley and the Oberland in the direction of Thun.
