Please Join only if you have already done Multiple Via ferratas (minimum Level B) and have all the equipments.

Meeting time:  Saturday 9th September 06:10; Munich HBf Platform 31, We arrive at 9.15.

We have multiple return transport every hour and should be back in Munich by 9.30PM latest.

***NOT FOR BEGINNERS***. 

Good Shoes (with very good grip) and Klettersteig equipment (Helmet, Belt, KS-Set, gloves) absolutely necessary. 

Enough Water, minimum 3-4 liters.

Energy rich food/snacks.

We can take cable car to Rosshutte or can hike for 2hrs based on group vote and decision. If we finish earlier we can stop at hut for food and drinks.

Bergbahn to the Rosshütte will take about 15minutes if we take cble car. The start point of the Via Ferrata is at a distance of 30 minutes from this station. The Via Ferrata will take 2.5 hours (with buffer time 3 hours).

Once the group is full and final, will create a WhatsApp group and share more information.

This is new via ferrata to the Seefelder Spitze in end of June 2021.

Here are the most important facts:

• Altitude difference: 260 hm
• Length: 475 m
• Difficulty: C
• Ascent from the Rosshütte station: approx. 30 minutes
• Descent to the Seefelder Joch station: approx. 20 minute
  
  

  The entrance is at an altitude of approx. 1,960 m, the exit at 2,220 m, thus a total height of 260 m or a length of 475 m is mastered. The difficulty of the via ferrata is in the range C. The walking time is about 1.5 hours. In addition, there is a 30-minute ascent from the Rosshütte station and a 20-minute descent to the Seefelder Joch station. The total time amounts to about 2.5 hours.

  For all those who are particularly keen on sports, the ascent from the Rosshütte valley station is recommended, this takes about 2 hours to the via ferrata entrance. Much more comfortable is the ascent with the funicular. This runs in summer every 15 minutes from 9-17 o'clock. The last descent at the Joch is at 16.45.
