Description: 

Dress up in Lederhosen/Dirndl, see the beautiful Neuschwanstein castle, enjoy a beer at the hut and maybe even swim at the end.

Please don't turn up without Trachten, this is a strict requirement.

Public Transport: We will take the train at 9:41 to Füssen, then the bus to Neuschwanstein/Hohenschwangau.

The journey takes ~ 2 hours, 20 minutes.

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3, please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T3. One ridge is T4, however this is optional.

Fast pace: The hike needs to be medium paced to allow time for pictures, enjoying the lake at the end and due to the longer train journey both ways.

Things to bring:

  • Trachten (Mandatory)
  • Hiking shoes
  • Food/drinks for the whole day
  • Deutschland-Ticket

Note Please unjoin the event asap if you can't participate anymore. You can't drop out less than 12 hrs before the event starts! If you happen to be sick and have to cancel beyond those 12 hours, please send me a message or leave a comment. Not showing up in time without a reasonable excuse will lead to a no-show entry in your profile.

Disclaimer: Hiking can be a risky and dangerous sport. I am not a mountain guide. Everyone joins this event at her/his own responsibility.
