Description

Probably the last weekend with good conditions this year to climb the Zugspitze and enjoy the view.

Since it's a technically demanding hike, it's not suitable for beginners.

We'll start hiking 08:30, and be back in Munich around 19:00.

We can make a break at Wiener Neustädter Hütte.

A part of the path is A/B - grade via ferrata, and a helmet is mandatory for it.

A sunny day is expected with good hiking conditions is expected on Saturday.


Things to keep in mind:

- Hiking boots

- At least 2l of water

- Food / Snacks

- Sunglasses

- 36.5E for the single direction Zugspitzbahn ticket

- helmet (obligatory)

- climbing harness and via ferrata set

- gloves
