Hiking around the beautiful Spitzingsee over the mountain ridge. Make yourself acquainted with the route https://www.komoot.de/tour/1203771755?ref=wtd before joining. The initial portion is an inofficial narrow path along the Brecherspitz-Ostgrat, at the same time the most difficult portion of the hike. This portion is mostly T3, with a single T4 spot (a 4-m-high wall that has to be climbed in degree I). For experienced hikers who are sure on foot and have a head for heights. Close to the end of the the hike, we may choose to deviate to Albert-Link-Hütte. For a wide range of physical conditions and wishes: a weak hiker or a hiker wishing to swim has plenty of opportunities to go down to Spitzingsee after Brecherspitz (and bath in the lake, relax, have lunch, …), and a strong hiker may hike faster than the rest and proceed to the east of Albert-Link-Hütte.
Necessary:
Optional: helmet, warm clothes (depending on the weather), crampons (depending on the current path conditions), gaiters (depending on the current path conditions), hiking poles, and a head lamp.
In case of rain, snow, thunderstorm, or too few participants (also if they don't show up last minute), the hike might be canceled, modified, or moved for safety reasons.
I plan to drive according to http://www.google.de/maps/dir/Fürstenrieder+Str.+249,+81377+München/Wessobrunner+Platz+5,+81377+München/Parkplatz+Spitzingsee+Ostufer,+Spitzingstraße,+83727+Schliersee and can pick up co-hikers along the way. The price may vary slightly depending on the number of folks in the car and the parking fees.
Tidiness rules for the folks who get a ride with my car: (1) keep your dirty hiking gear (e.g., dirty boots and dirty hiking-pole tips) in bags of yours, (2) don't eat inside (everyone can drink pure water, and the driver may also sip a caffeine drink), and if you are really hungry, ask the driver to stop and then eat outside, and (3) someday – and that day may never come – I will call upon you to help me cleaning the car with time or money.
Other drivers may (or may not) have their own regulations concerning their cars.
The tour is unguided; I'm not a guide. Every hiker is fully responsible for himself/herself and hikes at his/her own risk.
