Description

Long hike with medium difficulty (6-7hrs). Not suitable for beginners or unfit hikers. You are responsible for yourself.

There are two huts on the way St. Martin (1028 m) and Stepbergalm (1592m). We'll stop at the latter on the way down.

Good to know

Hiking shoes, surefootedness, stamina, sun protection and a minimum of 2l water are required.

We meet and start at Bayernhalle in Garmisch Partenkirchen at 9:30.

We come by car and have 2-3 seats left (contact me).

If you want to take the train to Garmisch-P.: meet at München-Pasing platform 3 at 7:25, buy a Werdenfels group ticket, write your names on it, and take the train RB 5411 (Mittenwald) at 7:39. It arrives at 8:54 in Garmisch and you walk 1,9km to the Bayernhalle.
