Description

This hike explores the Tannheimer Berge, including all important and interesting peaks.

You should be able to hike difficulty T4. The hike includes a Klettersteig of difficulty B/C (Friedberger Klettersteig), for which you should bring a Klettersteigset and a helmet. One Bandschlinge with Schraubkarabiner is also helpful for Selbstsicherung, I can bring an extra one if you need it.

Gimpel and Köllenspitze are optional. Gimpel is T5 and climbing grade II. Köllenspitze is Klettersteig of difficulty D.


Good to know

RB 5512 München HBF in front of Gleis 27. It goes over Murnau where I will join the train. Werdenfels Ticket is the cheapest option.

Bring a hut sleeping bag and enough money and food for sleeping and eating on the huts. We will probably stay at Gimpelhaus and Bad Kissinger Hütte. I will not reserve, on weekdays you usually can go there spontanously.
