Hallo Bergfreunde,

I wanted to go to Krottenkopf, over Weilheimer Hütte. The way up and down is reasonably steep and not short (similar to Daniel if you've done that before), therefore no beginners this time, nevertheless, the view is quite rewarding (and you get to have a beer at the highest hut of bavarian forealps!)

I would like to keep the pace moderate this time, if you have no reviews on the website and you would like to join, please drop me a line. A reasonable level of fitness, basic alpine experience as well as 'trusty' hiking boots are required.

And the usual disclaimer: hiking may be dangerous, I am not a mountain guide - everyone is responsible for their own safety. I recommend getting alpine insurance (DAV or similar).

Good to know

We will meet at Hbf, I will be lounging around Platform 32, then we buy the tickets together, if you turn up late, you will need to get the ticket for yourself!

Although we will be stopping at the hut in the afternoon, please bring 2-3l of water and food with you.
