This is a T3 hike, please carefully read the blogpost about the SAC hiking scale before you join!

Things to bring:

• hiking boots (no sneakers!)
• plenty of water, it will be hot! (minimum 2 litres)
• snacks/lunch (we can have lunch at the end of the hike at a restaurant)
• sunscreen
• swimsuit & towel
• cash (boat transfer 7 Euros, optional lunch and drinks)
• charged mobile phone
• ID/passport - we are going to Austria
• some kind of mountain rescue insurance (DAV or similar)

Note

Please be aware that you are not able to withdraw from the hike later than 12h before the starting time. Please be fair and give your spot to other hikers if you are not able to come. If you are new to Hiking Buddies or have few experience and do not have at least some suitable reviews and completed hikes in your profile, please give me a short notice about your past hiking experience and your overall fitness level via Hiking Buddies Messenger before joining. Otherwise I will have to remove you from the hike, without asking you questions or interrogating you . I also reserve myself to remove you from the hike if i think you are not suitable for the hike in my personal opinion, without further discussion.This is not to blame you but to ensure that you have the physical fitness and can enjoy the hike.

Disclaimer:

Hiking Buddies Munich is not a group of professional mountain guides but individuals gathering for sport activities. Each participant is responsible for her-/ himself and has to be prepared, bring suitable equipment and has to check if he meets the physical requirements. Hiking includes a certain risk and everybody is responsible for his/ her own safety. It is highly recommended having some kind of insurance in case of an incident.
