Description
This will be a relaxed, beginner friendly hike.
Public transport: We
take RB 56 departing at 8:03 am from Munich HBF at platform number 32 to Bad Tölz and from there the bus 9612 to Blombergbahn which will be our starting point. The bus/train back to Munich leaves hourly at XX.30
Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T1/T2. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2.
Huts: We will have food/drinks at Blomberghaus. We will arrive there at the later part of the hike, so please bring enough food/drinks for the whole day.
Alpine Coaster: We will take the Alpine coaster "Blomberg Blitz" for the last 1,3km of the hike. Ticket prices are 9€ per person. https://www.der-blomberg.de/blomberg-blitz

Good to know
We go with Deutschland ticket, please be on time as we will enter the train soon after 7:45
Kindly remember to pack the following essentials:
- food and drinks for the entire day
- cash for the hut and alpine coaster
- rain/sun protection according to the latest weather forecast (most probably sunny)
- Alpenverein / mountain insurance recommended
- first aid kit for emergencies recommended
- headlamp for emergencies recommended

Hi for the BRB RB56 is it 8:15 or 8:30 at HBF? Google only shows the 8:30 option.
Also for people who have to get back to Munich earlier, is it an option to skip Westgipfel, Ostgipfel and/or Zwiesel?

The train leaves at 8.03, thanks for the notice, I corrected it in the description. Of course you can leave the group and go home earlier, you have to look for your train connection then. Also possible to take the cable car down.
