Description
Hello Hiking Buddies!
The weather Gods have been kind to us, giving good weather on the free days. I just cannot let their good will go to waste!! Therefore, Bischof on this most likely beautiful Wednesday!!
This is not very beginner-friendly tour. It's a fairly long hike and we will not be making many breaks- 1 before the peak, 1 on top and no stops on the way down.
We will have to catch the 4 pm train, so we have about 7h20min to complete this hike!
If we are close to missing it, we will have to pick up the pace (and maybe run the last 20 minutes!)
Expected pace - 450-500 hm/hour ascend, 700+hm/hour or ~4km/h descend.
Departure: 7:38 at Pasing (or a few minutes earlier from HBF)
Return 16:09 from Farchant

Bring:
1) A good mood (Zero Bad Mood Tolerance, you might be sent back if you're grumpy for more than a few minutes.)
2) Proper Hiking boots
3) 49 euro ticket
4) Head lamp! (Just in case it gets dark)
5) Hiking/Trekking Poles (recommended)
Other stuff:
- DAV membership (recommended)
- Proper rain jacket
- Something to drink & eat to survive whole day of hiking (~2 Liters of water)- no hut stops planned
- A dry sense of humor (recommended, but not mandatory)
What I offer you:
- Fresh fruit: a kiwi and/or an apple (probably)
- Dried fruit: I might have figs (probably)
- Wet toilet paper
What I do not offer you:
- Mountain guide services
- Other fruits
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide, nor have I even done this hike. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
