Hello hiking buddies,
Another weekend, another long hike to rarely visited peaks! The weather seems better on Sunday and the days are still long enough to enjoy both autumn vibes and Christmas vibes once we're high enough for snow.
Therefore, we're going for two peaks: Hoher Ziegspitz and Hirschbichel! Never been there, so no idea what to expect, but the elevation profile looks pleasant.
This is not very beginner-friendly tour. It's long, there will be snow and we will not be making many breaks- 1 before the first peak, 1 on Hoher Ziegspitz and 1 more on Hirschbichel. Expect wet and slippery conditions, so you definitely want sticks, shoes with good grip in the snow and probably gaiters.
Expected pace - 450-500 hm/hour ascend, 800+hm/hour or ~4km/h descend.
Departure: 6:38 at Pasing -> 8:19 we're in Griesen
Return: 16:48 from Untergrainau -> back in Pasing at about 18:20.
