Hoi hikers,


Let's explore some peaks in the Jura mountains, with a nice view of Northwestern Switzerland and even the Alps in the distance.

Note: This hike is not suitable for beginners.


How to get there:

Journey by public transport: ZH HB - Grenchen-Süd (No change needed, wow!)

The train (IC 5 to Yverdon-les-Bains) departs at 08:30 from ZH HB. 

Journey by car: Use gps. Note: This is not a roundtrip.


Meeting point:
  09:35 AM - Grenchen-Süd train station
 
 
Hike:
  • The hike will last ca.6 hours with a lot of viewpoints.
  • Optional end at the Weissenstein cable car station. It means 3 km less distance and 520 m less descent.
  • The pace will be medium/fast with enough time to admire the landscape. Short lunch break (20 min) at half-time
Equipment:
  • Proper hiking boots, optional poles, food for picnic lunch, enough water, proper clothes acc. to the weather, good mood and fitness.
