At this hike I expect you to bring snow shoes with you. No snow shoes-> then you can‘t join!
But we will use these shoes only where no path is existing anymore because it is covered with deep snow. That means probably only on 80% of the hike.
(At the last hike we had to hike through 1m deep snow without snow shoes.)
This will be a combination of hike + snow shoes walk!!!!
We will try to make less breaks because of the low temperature and the amount of snow. So we will follow 2 rules:
1) That means we hike up and down at a fast pace without breaks. We eat/drink while hiking.
Your pace should be around 400hm/h.
2) We can take a 5-minute break at the summit.
Spikes would be useful in the area where it will go easier without snowshoes.
Recommended equipment:
-Hiking poles
-gaiters
-torch
-gloves/hat
-hiking shoes or trail running shoes
-1 or 2 liters of water
-rain jacket/pants

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
Attention:
We will follow the GPS route the whole time. A path covered with snow is no reason to change the route. If you decide not to follow the GPS route, then you have officially left the hike and will be removed from my hike.
Please let me know your phone number before the hike. If we get separated, we can call each other to figure out how to find each other again.
