General information

I M P O R T A N T
During the hiking season, a few buddies asked for organizing a beginners class in cross country skiing. Please join the event here on hiking buddies to have an overview of the participants. Additionally you have to subscripte to the classes individualy (see section costs) and also book a room (see section Accomodation).

Maybe we can book a big room if there are several buddies joining. If you have any questions, just use the comments section below

Location: Langis is a located above Sarnen on a peat bog with a beautiful view to mount Pilatus.

Course: Basic course in cross country skiing either in skating (experienced on skis) or classic (never been on skis) organized by Glanzmann Sports

Organizer: The classes will be held from professional guides of Glanzmann Sport (including me)

Costs:  CHF 130 / more Infos: Langlaufschule – Glanzmann Sport

Accomodation: Berghaus Langis / fully booked, we switched to Schlüssel Alpnach

Gear

Can be rented at Glanzmann Sport Langis at a special discounted price for the weekend

• You have to subscribe to the classe yourself here (mention "hiking buddies" in the remarks section:

Transportation

• This is a carpool event, possibly combined with people coming by public transports. Anyone else with a car can add it via the Carpool button at the top of this page. If you join by public transports, see the guidelines further down.

  Instructions for joining car

  1. Click on the Carpool button.
  2. If there's any available seat, click Join car. You have 12h before the event to unjoin, but the earlier the better so that someone else can join.

  How can I join by public transports?
  

  Case 1: You are the first one joining by public transports

  1. Click on Carpool (top of the page)
  2. Click on Add a car (even if it is not actually a car)
  3. Set the number of seats available to 0
  4. In the field Contact details, write "Public transports"
  5. The other fields aren't relevant.

  Case 2: Someone else already added a fake car for public transports

  1. Click on Carpool (top of the page)
  2. Click on Join car
