Description

It's one of the most beautiful hikes in Bavaria. The ridge between Heimgarten and Herzogstand offers amazing views of Walchensee and Kochelsee. Ater the hike we will have a break at the lake, so bring your swimsuit!  

The hike is technically easy, except few sections in the ridge. Those sections are secured with the rope for safety. 

Good to know

Please be on time, we only have 15 mins to buy the tickets. The train will leave at 7:59! 

Required things to bring:

  • hiking boots
  • food & 3 liters of water
  • cash for train ticket
  • swimsuit
  • sun lotion
  • fully charged phone

Hiking is potentially dangerous, everyone joins at his own risk and is responsible for himself. 
Having a DAV insurance is highly recommended.
