Description
This hike was cancelled 2 weeks ago due to heavy snow, i want to organize this again. Please read about the T-Scale before joining.
This hike includes sledging from Obere Firstalm, sledge can be rented for 7 euros. Please only join if you are interested in sledging. More information at https://mondscheinrodeln.de/
The T3 part from Brecherspitz Vorgipfel to Brecherspitz is optional and is not beginner friendly, will attempt to do this based on the snow conditions.
Weather:
Duration: 4 to 5 hours(30 to 60 minutes in obere firstalm)
Travel: From Munich HBF GL32
Return to Munich: Ideally the one at 15:03
Good to know
Things to bring:
- proper hiking shoes;
- snow spikes;
- gaiters;
- snow shoes (highly recommended);
- headlamp;
- food and water(atleast 2L or more) for the day;
- layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast;
- GPX viewer with the route information;
- Deutschland ticket.
Optional:
- hiking poles;
- change of clothes if you want to take a dip in the lake;
- DAV membership/insurance;
- first aid kit.
