Dear hiking fellas.
Let's start the year strong by hiking to the Focken Stein Mate!! And if we're feeling frisky enough, we'll open the 2024 swimming season by dipping into Tegernsee once we're done. Not mandatory, but you're welcome to bring a towel and a dry change of clothes and join me!
This is not very beginner-friendly tour. It's a bit long, snowfall is forecasted and we will not be making many breaks, only stopping to put on gaters, spikes, short snack/tea breaks and a quick lunch at the F*ck**stein.
Expected pace - ~350hm/hour ascend, 600-800+hm/hour or 4+km/h descend.
If everyone's up for it, we could add Geierstein at the very start, which adds about 150 height meters and involves some T3. I expect it will already be difficult enough in the winter conditions, but I'm definitely open to this.
