The idea is to hike to Federispitz via Federihütte on Saturday.
If the weather permits, the views should be amazing, but we will also go through snow, so be prepared. Saturday is expected to be a cloudy but not rainy day.
This is a hike without snowshoes, I am hoping there will be not too much snow on Federispitz so that we will be able to do it. Otherwise we will end the hike near Federihütte and go back.
In case if you need to reach me, my phone number: +41 78 640 33 54.
Difficulty: T3 in summer.
Pace: ~400 uphill meters per hour. We should reach the top by around 1pm or 2pm, have a short break there and go down.
Meeting point: Schänis Train Station at 08:35 (that's when train S17 arrives from Ziegelbrücke).
Recommended gear: We will encounter snow on higher elevation, spikes are recommended. Bring warm clothes as the temperature at the top will be around 3 degrees celsius.
The hike should be finished by 5pm, but bring headlamp just in case we are overtime :)
