It is possible to come by public transport (9:25 from HB 7:05) in this case add a virtual car to the carpool. Not many connections to return.

Start Time: 9:25 at the parking place, 7:30 from Zürich, If there will be nobody with public transportation we will go 35 minutes earlier (8:50).

Ski tour difficult grade: PD+, 1450m elevation

Route: The route is a little more difficult than what we are used to on other trips but more on the end of the route. Otherwise, it is a south-faced route in beautiful Ticino with a nice view from the top. To climb the summit itself requires some easy block climbing, so snow axes and crampons are recommended. We start skiing a little lower so climbing on the summit is unnecessary. We will try to find a good place close to the top to have a meal break :).

Weather: We expect good weather.

Avalanche danger: Low to moderate.

Snow condition: There was a lot of new snow in Ticino so we can expect some powder. At the beginning of the route, we can expect a tinnier snow layer (26cm).

Required equipment: Avalanche safety equipment (beacon, shovel, probes), Skitouring equipment (touring skis or board, poles, ski touring boots), 

Recommended equipment: ski crampons, snow axes, crampons
