Hello hiking fellas.
Weekend = hiking time! Weather might be bad, but we give no shits! Zero!
This is not very beginner-friendly tour. It's steep, a bit long, there will be snow and we will not be making many breaks, only stopping to put on gaiters, spikes and short food/tea breaks.
We might go back to Farchant, which saves us ~30 minutes, depending on how the ascend goes. I will need to get the train back at 16:10 at Farchant or 16:07 at Garmisch. The 17:05 works too but that's the last one for me. So I'm catching that no matter what.
Expected pace - ~350-400hm/hour ascend depending on snow, 800+hm/hour or ~4-6 km/h descend.
