Easy hike, suitable for beginners, with swimming in Walchensee afterwards. If there will be some people interested, we can also draw or paint the beautiful nature.

We meet near platform 30 at 8:40 to get to the train to Kochel at 9:00. Please, be some time earlier, as at this time we are buying the group tickets. We arrive at Kochel at 10:08, and then we take a bus at 10:35 to Kesselberg Paßhöhe.

The hike will take 3,5 h approx. and it's classified T2. It should be fine for all the beginners, but please, no sneakers. There is a Hut Jocheralm, where we probably stop to eat something (according to the will of participants and local conditions).

And after the hike we will swim in the Walchensee.

We can a few options to come back to Munich, but it will take more time: a bus from Kesselberg Paßhöhe leaves at 16:24, 18:24 and 19:41. In the worst scenario, we can walk 5 km to Kochel - what actually doesn't sound that bad, considering how beautiful the area is.

What to bring:
Obligatory:
- hiking shoes and appropriate clothes
- a lot of water - 2L
- cash for the ticket and optional food
- swimming suit and a towel

Optional:
- DAV membership - even though it's an easy hike, better safe than sorry
- UV creme - it's going to be sunny, the sun is dangerous, especially for the people with white skin.
- additional snacks - in case we won't stop at the hut or to eat on the road
- raincoat, just in case
- hiking poles
- a blanket to lay near the sea
- sketchbook / paper and tools for drawing or painting if someone is interested

Important! It's not a guided tour and I'm not a guide. Actually, it's a first-ever hike organized by me for the HB group. You are responsible for yourself. I can't forbid you to go if you come with flip-flops or without water at all, but please don't make it difficult for yourself. This event will have a slow pace, we can stop to take photos, but we have to catch the bus back to Kochel and if we won't do it, we have to walk!

Please only join when you are sure, you can make it. Please, don't join if you have to be early back in Munich. You can't unjoin the event after 8:40 PM today. People, who take place on the list and won't come, will get a "no show" mark on their profile.
