Meet at München Hbf Pl. 29 for the 07:32 RB6 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Should Arrive in Eschenlohe at 08:42.
Time for some type-two fun! Im looking for an adventure, so I found a hike that I’m “pretty sure” I’m be able to complete. If you finish every hike, you aren’t trying hard enough hikes :)
We keep a decent pace (400m/h) and stick together. There is likely snow, so I reversed the route so that we have a few more options for the way down. We’re probably do the “normal” way (reverse of what is posted here) so that we go up the Schrofen, and not down it. But route might have to be adjusted depending on conditions.

Not for beginners. Depending on your profile history, I might ask you to provide details of your experience or ask you to leave the hike.
I personally haven't done this route and the winter conditions will make it tricky, but I'm going to try to push thru as far as I can before it becomes unsafe. I am not a guide and you'll be responsible for making your own judgment calls and risk assessments.
Return trains are every hour, so we'll try to time our decent accordingly.
All the normal stuff. You should have a good idea of the sort of things to bring. Water, food, rain gear, spikes, gaiters, headlamp, etc.
No hut along the way, so bring a lunch and we’ll find a spot at the top to eat.
We stick together and stick to the plan as much as possible. I'll make a WhatsApp group for planning and communication. WhatsApp: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JlaQ5cl038B929n9ctB9am
Again, I am not a guide. Hiking is risky and can be dangerous. You are responsible for yourself.
