Description
Pace: 300 HM (Normal). It will be some rainy weather, pls check before joining the event.
Meeting time: 24th March at 07:40
Meeting Point: In train RB54 or refer train schedule below,
- RB 54: München Ost (Platform.8 at 7:50)
- Bring your 49 euro ticket with you.
- Things to bring:
- Cash/Paypal for the ticket
- Waterproof hiking shoes
- Passport/Id
- Food/drinks for the whole day
- Hiking poles, head lamp
- Gaiters & spikes/crampons
- Raincoat & hiking clothes (Strictly no jeans please)
- spare socks
- Download.gpx file in advance and ready with import to your tracking app/’s. Example gpx viewer
- First Aid Kit
- Most importantly, a good mood 😊

Please unjoin the event well in advance if you don't plan to come.
Disclaimer: Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarize themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour.

Hi Kesav, there were loose big rocks at one place on the T3 ascent part and it's not well marked until some point in the forest if you take this ascent route. Be careful and have fun! :)

In addition to Bari's point, I wouldn't recommend the T3 section in wet weather, we had a pretty hard time doing it in the summer. It seems to be fairly unused and markings are almost none extent.

Hi Kesav I am just reading Baris and Amabel’s comments…. I’m not sure it’s a selling point for this route in the conditions. I still want to hike tomorrow but will you consider any modifications?

I don’t doubt it, but care to share it? Will we miss out the loose rocks part Baris mentioned on the T3 ascent? If not then I may need to unjoin.

Hi, I’m so sorry Kesav, I haven’t done a late unjoin before, but the comments of other buddies concerned me and I don’t like the sound of the forecast conditions. I cannot unjoin the event now. Sorry for this, stay safe and I hope to catch you next time. All the best, Debs
