The Heilbronner Weg is a renowned high-altitude mountain trail located in the Allgäu Alps. Its long T4 section is known for its narrow ridges, steep climbs, and the necessity for sure-footedness and a head for heights. We will traverse secured passages with wire ropes and ladders, making it a thrilling adventure. The route will reward us with stunning views of rugged peaks, vast valleys, and pristine alpine lakes.

DAY 1 Saturday 29/6: Train from Munich HbF to Obersdorf , Bus 7 to Alpe Eschbach. Hike to Rappenseehutte, relaxing / swimming at the magical Rappensee, overnight there
Public Transport: RE72 from Muc to Buchloe then RE17 to Obersdorf theb bus 7 to Birgsau Alpe Eschbach, Oberstdorf
DAY 2 Sunday 30/6: Wake up very early and hike the main part of the Heilbronner Weg incl Hohes Licht. In the evening, we take the bus from Spielmansau to Obersdorf and from there the train to Munich.

Initially, it's essential to conduct your own research to determine if you're comfortable undertaking this tour, even under less-than-ideal conditions Then, either you have completed a minimum of three T4-level hikes , documented in your profile since 2023 or alternatively, you can send me a PM with a link to your profile, a description of your physical fitness and hiking experience for consideration. Upon receiving my approval, you are then eligible to press the join button and join the event. Last step is to send me a non-refundable prepayment of 11.25 Euro via PayPal (i will share the details per PM). I have reserved 10 places at the Rappensee Hutte.
