Weather is looking very promising for Friday

Let's check out Wildbarren from Oberaudorf, descending from there to Flintsbach to take the train back from there


This is not a difficult hike by itself but a moderately long one, so probably not for absolute beginners, 
but we / I will go at a moderate pace

We pass by the Hohe Asten, one of the highest farms in Germany and can eat something there,
but that is quite late in the tour, so bring enough food to sustain you for the tour

I would expect you to have a 49€/ Deutschland ticket, if you don't, it's on you to organize a Bayern ticket or similar

Good to know

We meet at platform 10 at Munich Hauptbahnhof to take the train at 7:38 to Oberaudorf
Please be on time so we enough time to buy the tickets etc.

Please bring

  • hiking boots
  • proper hiking clothing (not accepting anybody with Jeans and / or Sneakers)
  • hiking poles if you have
  • food & snacks
  • Water (I would recommend at least 2 Liters)
  • Gaiters and crampons(As far as I could check, there should not be much snow on the route, but I can't be sure, always better to be prepared in the Winter)
  • head lamp (should not be needed but just in case)
  • some cash
  • good mood
  • sunglasses & sun cream
  • charged phone (my number is 0177/9768273), recommended to download the GPX by yourself
  • DAV or similar insurance highly recommended

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
