** Newly created event since it was postponed last weekend due to weather **

The route leads around the imposing Alpspitz and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the Allgäu Alpine panorama. The trail offers a beautiful opportunity to enjoy nature and experience the beauty of the Alps. I also hope that we will have the possibility, and it is not too crowded to get a snack and drink at the Bergrestaurant at Alpspitze, the Sportheim Böck together with a lot of sunshine.

I deliberately chose this tour for the start of the season, as hikers (me) still need to build up their fitness at this stage of season ;-)

Refreshments, Restaurant
Maybe here when it's not too crowded! Hopefully with good weather and a view!
Otherwise we will rest at the highest point and eat the snacks we bring.

Fees: Parking lot is subject to a fee with 4,- EUR costs for the day ticket
There is either a guy at the entrance of the parking lot collecting the money or we have to pay via "Parkster" app.

Equipment

• Sufficient drinks (water) and food
• Appropriate clothing for the weather:
  In the valey it can be quite warm, on the mountain it can be quite windy.
  Please bring some jacket.
• Hiking equipment, appropriate footwear for mountain tours:
  I want to highlight this point. The trail is easy in the beginning, on the upper part we will touch some old snow and due to melting of the snow there are several muddy sections. If you go with sneakers, you will either slip or get wet feet. Therefore please bring proper hiking shoes.
• If you have hiking poles, bring them. When we go downhill this will also prevent you from slipping.
• Good mood :-)

When will we be back?
Including breaks and possible refreshments, I expect to return to the meeting point at around 15:00.

Weather and track
We will see a good track between the starting point and about 1200hm. Between 1200hm and 1400hm there will be some muddy sections due to the melting of the snow, therefore you will need good boots. Above 1400hm there will be some small sections where we maybe touch some snow, but possibly on the Saturday before more will melt and there are already lots of people on the trail.
