A hike for late sleepers, the Sleeping Witch Ridge to Predigstuhl Peak. It's a rather steep ascent with some technical parts, there are cables on some parts of the way, but no Klettersteig set is required. You will see Watzmann, Hochstaufen, Bad Reichenchal, and Untersberg - it won't disappoint,
Here are more details and photos of the route https://www.komoot.com/tour/1495607517
It's a T3 route https://www.bergwelten.com/t/w/9528
Public transport.
A train to Bayrische Gmain Bahnhof arrives at 12:16 (hence the meeting time), if you come from Munich - you will have to change trains in Freilassing (I don't come from Munich, so you have to self-organise). If you come from Salzburg, there is a direct bus n.180.
As we start rather late, you should be able to hike relatively fast.
There is no snow at this altitude.
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
