Description
Reflecting on my recent solo journey along the Mittenwalder Hoehenweg last week, I'm eager to share photos soon and leverage this experience to offer insights into the winter terrain along this trail. Stay tuned for the uploads.
A word of caution: This hike is not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced. The rugged Karwendel giants pose significant challenges, especially in winter conditions. It's not just about heights; sure-footedness and familiarity with alpine snow trekking are essential. Every year, many underestimate these mountains and lose their life.
