Description

Make yourself acquainted with the route https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/1524188670?share_token=azSIsxVqCMqAwngST8NOAI4xStLzI74uFRrn87COY83AxXJuTb&ref=wtd .

Necessary:

  • ankle-covering hiking boots, and
  • a commensurate amount of water (the exact amount depends on your weight; I advise ⩾ 2 L).
Recommended:

  • hiking poles,
  • a tiny bit of food,
  • skin plaster, disinfection liquid, and
  • an electronic or a printed map.

Optional:

  • head lamp, and
  • gear for rain, snow, or ice, depending on the season and the weather.
I hike at a medium speed uphill and slowly downhill.

In case of heavy rain, heavy snow, violent wind, or thunderstorm, the hike might be canceled, modified, or moved for safety reasons. For the hike to take place in any form, ⩾ 3 participants must show up.

I can pick up co-hikers along the route http://www.google.com/maps/dir/Fürstenrieder+Str.+249,+81377+München/Lainweg+6,+82481+Mittenwald .  The price for being driven may vary slightly depending on the number of folks in the car and the parking fees. Folks with recent no-shows are NOT welcome and may be removed at my discretion.

Tidiness rules for the folks who get a ride with my car: (1) keep your dirty hiking gear (e.g., dirty boots and dirty hiking-pole tips) in bags of yours (and sit in the car in relatively clean street shoes or relatively clean flip-flops), (2) don't eat in the car unless you're starving, in which case ask the driver to stop and then eat outside, whereas everyone may drink pure water, and the driver may also sip a caffeine drink, and (3) someday – and that day may never come – I will call upon you to help me to clean the car with time or money. Other drivers may (or may not) have their own regulations concerning their cars.

Besides carpooling, public transportation is also available (I don't organize it, and a co-hiker may add a meeting point at a train station as if he/she offered yet another car ride).

The tour is unguided; I'm not a guide. Every hiker is fully responsible for himself/herself, should be able to do the hike alone, and hikes at his/her own risk.
